I'm taking a poll

1. Do you, as a reader, have enough interest in my blog still to want me to keep posting?

That's it. That's the whole poll. I know that my posts slowed as I transitioned from my restaurant job to my dance studio job, and I indicated that I might not keep up with this past my one-year anniversary, but you, as my readers, seem to have taken that (in the last week) to mean that I'm giving up and not worth the time it takes you to comment.

And I've been trying to "draw you back in" with questions at the end, so you can comment, but even my "biggest fan", my sister, InnerHippie, seems to have disappeared! Whaddup widdat? Paging Cheryl. Your sister is missing (you).

Are you bored?
Are you ready for me to end this experiment? Have I strayed too far from... whatever it was that drew you in in the first place?

What can I do here to win back your favor? I'm open to your suggestions. You'll have to actually comment for me to "hear " your suggestions. Jus' sayin'...

  1. I want to comment on every single post, but that's a lot of effort. I'm just trying to keep my head above water with this whole move and being nauseated and reestablishing a "normal" routine. Keep writing. Or don't. It should be about what YOU want to do. Blogging isn't for the readers. Not really. It's for the writer. An opportunity for self expression and catharsis.

    1. okay, thank you. you needn't comment on every single post if it's a lot of effort. I wouldn't want you making yourself sick to let me know you're here. it just used to be how I knew you were there. once a week is fine, or just whatever's the quickest note to send when you have something to say.

I'll keep your move in my prayers, and hopefully, that'll cover your nausea and routine issues, too. and I think blogging is for both of us. if it were only for me, I could write a diary, right?

  5. I have lost about three hundred viewers a day with the move to the new blog and it worried me, but not anymore, now I feel less restricted and more able to use my blog for me, which is as I intended.

    1. I can't imagine LOSING Three Hundred Readers per DAY. But as long as you like your new site, then that's really all that matters, i'nit? ;) ... and those readers you used to have will likely find you again, if they remember liking what they were reading in the first place.

I apologize to you HERE, Holly. I've been too busy to post, but that also means too busy to READ! I'll catch up when I'm dead, I guess. ;)
